"The stage of KIOSK Budapest is a stage for live performances, where talented musicians and artists create an unforgettable atmosphere.

A prize we can't wait to win

It is with great pleasure and pride that we share with you that KIOSK has been awarded 2 chef's hats in its category in the Gault&Millau Guide Hungary 2026.

This is an outstanding achievement and an important accomplishment. It is a moment that fills us with pride, and we thank you, our guests, who with all your feedback, smiles and empty plates, show us how we can always be better. Behind KIOSK is a huge, dedicated team who couldn't fit in a single picture if we wanted to - we thank them, all our team members, because we work from the heart and we believe that this is what you can always feel, in every situation.

Life is good!

What did Gault&Millau write about us?

"KIOSK is not just a restaurant, it is also a centre of Budapest's social life. It has always been a dynamic place to be, and with True Colors - Modern Revue it is also the venue for nightly music and dance shows with dinner.

The complex, which is metropolitan, even cosmopolitan, in every sense of the word, can accommodate hundreds of guests, with a capacity of 150 people on the terrace alone. Despite the high ceilings, the loft-like interior is cosy and warm, thanks in large part to the thoughtful mood lighting.

The waiters are ready and smiling, even in the busiest of times. KIOSK's southern menu is a well-known value for money choice. It's particularly commendable that such a busy place should embrace thoughtful Hungarian cuisine, prepared with good ingredients and the right technology.

The dishes show that a lot of thought went into them before they were put on the menu: they are elaborate and beautiful, and with a few tweaks they could be quite exceptional. Their chicken paprikash with egg dumplings is memorable, and it's a guest-friendly idea that the latter appears on the menu separately with lettuce, as in home-style Hungarian cuisine. And we'd be back for the poppy seed cube!"
