The KIOSK EGGcellence grill terrace is one of our most cherished dreams come true. The menu is created by Kornél Kaszás, executive chef of Babel, and for the second year in a row we've been bubbling along with the vibrant Budapest summer scene: the grill is smoking, the space is alive, and every day we're on holiday - with you.
Buttersoft octopus, crazy good carrot salad, whole roasted golden turbot, cool barbecue food, naughty wines, fresh herbs and vegetables, so much so that it comes to you straight from the ground, from our own Papi farm every day. Sit back and holiday with us downtown in the cool shade of our linden tree!

The ancestor of the Green Egg is a thousands of years old East Asian wood-fired clay oven, invented by the Japanese. The taste of food prepared in ceramic eggs is unmistakable and their aroma is unparalleled. The sturdy, heat-resistant body traps smoke and heat as if a secret ritual is taking place inside. Some say that the taste of meat cooked in a Green Egg is closer to ancient feasts around a fire than anything you can get in a modern kitchen. No wonder the egg-shaped barbecue sanctuary has a worldwide fan base. And at KIOSK, we are working to elevate this ancient technique to the highest gastronomic experience possible, at the level of fine dining.
